A clear paper bag specification helps avoid delays and unexpected changes during sampling. Before requesting a quotation, confirm the product dimensions, expected load, material, handle, printing and packing method.
Bag dimensions are normally expressed as width, gusset and height. Measure the products that will go inside and allow enough space for loading and removal. For cup takeaway bags, also confirm the cup carrier or insert so the bag and contents work together.
Kraft paper is widely used for takeaway and retail packaging because it combines a natural appearance with practical rigidity. Paper weight should be chosen according to bag size, expected load and handle structure. A larger bag may require a different specification from a small single-item bag.
Twisted paper, flat paper, rope and die-cut handles provide different appearances and carrying experiences. Handle position and reinforcement should be checked against the intended load. If the bag will carry bottles, cups or heavier gift items, explain the application before sampling.
Artwork should include the final print colours, logo position and any finishing requirements. Keep important information away from folds, gussets and handle areas. For hot stamping or embossing, use clean vector artwork and confirm the process area separately.
Carton quantity, flat packing method, moisture protection and shipping destination can affect the final quotation. Providing these details early makes it easier to compare options and plan delivery.
A complete request should include dimensions, material preference, handle type, printing colours, finishing, quantity, artwork and destination.
